Needed to check we could get wide enough over the top with a Techno 30' for the roundabout at the end and demonstrate to the VFX team that we would definitely need to paint the crane out.

I got really obsessed with tracking things to change the world on this job. Here I mocked up in after effects a track we could do to let our dancer surf the world. Off-course the balance board would then be painted out although it would be just below the wall line as I opted to shoot slightly lower to the wall line making it look like he was really surfing the world.

My tracking tests went on to his shoulders; across his shoulders so as he rotated the frame rotated. This VFX did make the final edit but off-course I asked the way more competent team to track it properly as I did this myself in the airport lounge on the flight home.
